Grounded

my dad says when i get my driving licence i will only be able to ride the lawnmower up and down the front lawn, but that is it. the story behind this is, i was given the keys and told to start my dads car, i am familiar with my moms automatic car.not my dads stick shift. so i put the key in the ignition, turned it, nothing happens.so i get in to the front seat. i don't realize the car has 3 petals i think i am holding down the break but really it is the clutch. turn the key, miracle it starts. it roles forward i freak out. switch petals floored the gas thinking it must be the other one I went flying forward hit the snowbank . i take out the key and await the punishment.
